Let No True Heart Be Left Behind
All Mutts Matter Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) 3 dog rescue based in Wilmington, DE and was established in February 2013. They have a network of volunteers and foster families in several different states. These states include Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Dogs are pulled from the shelters in these states as well as Kentucky and Tennessee. Along with the dogs rescued from the shelter, AMMF also strives to help owner surrenders, whether it be a senior dog whose owner has passed or went to a nursing home, a family is moving and can’t take the dog with them, or a puppy going to the shelter. AMMF prides itself in doing whatever they can to save a dog. AMMF provides foster homes for these dogs as well as vetting which includes but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm test, deworming, flea/tick/heart worm preventative, micro-chipping, and any other necessary treatment that may be required. These dogs are loved and nurtured in their foster homes with their foster families until the perfect forever family is found for them. AMMF is also committed to community education and training to develop cultural standards for responsible dog ownership.
Our office manager Renee Moodispaw has been a foster for AMMF since October 2015. Since then Weston Veterinary Hospital, Renee, and AMMF have worked closely together. Somewhere around 160 dogs have been seen at our office, and we have provided their veterinary care. Renee is now a very active in the group and the two of them are hoping to have a chapter in West Virginia very soon. Weston Veterinary Hospital is proud to partner with All Mutts Matter Foundation and provides the best veterinary care for their rescues.
All Mutts Matter Foundation’s mission statement is Let No True Heart Be Left Behind, and Renee and Weston Veterinary Hospital hope to help them accomplish that both local and afar.
