HOSPITAL POLICIES

Weston Veterinary Hospital Weston, West Virginia - Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date for any routine surgeries or non-emergency visit.

*No-Show Appointment Policy*

Your appointment time is reserved with the doctor. Failure to keep this appointment limits our ability to care for other pets in need. We do not charge a cancellation fee. However, if you fail to keep a reserved appointment time and do not call in advance, you will be required to pre-pay the exam fee as a deposit for future appointments. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your visit if the appointment is kept. If the appointment is not cancelled in a timely manner, the deposit will be forfeited, and you will be required to pay another deposit in order to schedule again.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, American Express, cash and personal checks.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is why we recommend that pets be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
