Dr. William Moodispaw:

Dr. William Moodispaw is a veterinarian and previous owner of Weston Veterinary Hospital. A native of St. Clairsville, OH Dr. Moodispaw did his undergraduate studies at Ohio University, and continued his graduate studies at the College of Veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. He graduated in 1980 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, William and Kathleen moved to Weston, WV, where he obtained a position at the Weston Veterinary Clinic. In 1982,  Dr. Moodispaw purchased the practice from John Spiker, and has been at the Weston Veterinary Hospital ever since. In September 2020, Dr. Moodispaw decided to cut back on working and spend more time with family. He sold Weston Veterinary Hospital to Drs. Adam and Roxanne Evans. Bill still works at staff at Weston Veterinary Hospital although many few hours that he has done in the past. Bill is a member of St. Patrick Church. He is an avid hunter and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Dr. Roxanne Evans:

Dr. Roxanne Evans, along with Dr. Adam Evans, is a veterinarian and new owner of Weston Veterinary Hospital. While now living in Weston, she is originally from Boston, MA. Dr. Evans obtain an undergraduate degree from Washington State University and continued her studies at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2009 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Evans has worked in a variety of practices since graduation, ranging from a cat only clinic to a 24-hour veterinary hospital. Prior to working at Weston, she has worked in Morgantown and Fairmont. When not at work, she likes to spend time outdoors with her husband and two children. 

Dr. Adam Evans:

Dr. Adam Evans, along with Dr. Roxanne Evans, is a veterinarian and new owner of Weston Veterinary Hospital. While now living in Weston, he is originally from Summersville, WV. Dr. Evans obtain an undergraduate degree from Concord University in Athens, WV and continued his studies at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated in 2009 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Evans has worked in a variety of practices since graduation. He has worked in Morgantown as an emergency veterinarian and taught at Pierpont Community & Technical College in Fairmont. His most recent job before starting at Weston Veterinary Hospital was teaching future veterinarians at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. When not at work, he likes to spend time outdoors with her wife and two children. 

Dr. Barbara Hurst:

Dr. Barbara Hurst is an associate veterinarian at Weston Veterinary Hospital. She is a local to Weston graduating as valedictorian from Lewis County High School in 2002. She was first in her graduating class from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV in 2006 when she completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She graduated with her doctorate from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. “Doctor Barbie” lives in Weston with her husband Larry and her two children. She currently splits her time between Weston Veterinary Hospital and Pierpont Community & Technical College. While she is not at the hospital as much as she use to be, she still sees appointments most Fridays. When she’s not working, Barbie enjoys crafting, spending time with her kids, traveling, and going to the movies.
